MoreEffective today, Travel Service is wet-leasing Boeing 737-800 registration OK-TSD to Arkia for about a month. The aircraft is not dedicated to any destination so it is appearing likely at Amsterdam, Barcelona, Helsinky, Heraklion, Oslo, Paris, Rijeka or Rhodes. The lease has option for extension. El Al is newly leasing Boeing 767-300 from Spain based Privilege Style. It is planned for Amsterdam, Barcelona, Marseille, Milano, Munich, Paris or Rome by end of August 2015.
MoreHainan Airlines starting 23.09.2015 are launching new service to Czech Republic: direct Beijing - Prague flights. Chinese B767-300 will operate the flights, arriving in Prague every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 07:30 in the morning. Return flights to Beijing are scheduled for the same day at 13:30.
MoreAir Transat is leasing one of their Airbuses A330-200 to Travel Service for 2015 winter season. Travel Service will operate this 345 seater (12C + 333Y) on Carribean charters to Varadero/Punta Cana. This widebody lease allows Travel Service to avoid technical stops at Azores needed for Boeing 737-800 operated this flights before. Carribean service is scheduled twice per week (Wed, Sun). Travel Service operated widebody aircraft in winter seasons 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 using Boeing 767-300.
MoreTravel Service is leasing Boeing 737-800 registration OK-TVF to El Al Israel Airlines. El Al is lacking aircraft for their summer expansion so Travel Service is providing ACMI (wet) lease of one aircraft that will be used mainly for flights from Tel Aviv to Prague (nine flights per week). Other rotations this aircraft from Tel Aviv leads to Lisbon and Zagreb. This lease is causing miss Up by El Al livery in Prague till the end of August.
MoreLatvian airBaltic is introducing new route from Prague to Budapest. Route from Riga to Prague will be extended to Budapest effective October 25th 2015 using DHC8-400 (10x weekly). Prague - Budapest segment is dominated by CSA Czech Airlines as Malev went out of business a few years ago.

The Stuttgart – Geneva – Marseille flights, planned 4 times a week using ATR42-500 as OK600/1/2/3 have been cancelled due to low bookings. The flights have been planned for Tue and Thu morning and evening, return at noon the same day and Wed + Fri morning effective 26.05.2015.
MoreThe CSA Czech Airlines Prague - Kiev service will land in Kosice on its way since 18.05.2015. The carrier hopes to get a better load factor in this way, using the rights between Kosice and Kiev as well. The 4 weekly flights are moved to nighttime. An Airbus A319 takes off from Prague at 22:10 every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, visits Kosice between 23:25/23:55 and lands in Kiev at 02:10. It goes back 2 hours later to land in Prague at 06:15 (going through Kosice at 04:30/05:00).
MoreTwo A320s used by CSA Czech Airlines are supposed to leave for Karachi, Pakistan on Tuesday. Newly registered as AP-BLU (ex OK-LEE) and AP-BLV (ex OK-LEF) , they are going to continue their service with Pakistan International Airlines.
MoreTwo more B737-800s are joining Travel Service fleet for summer, this time coming from Canadian CanJet. C-FTCX (built 2000, c/n 29921, to be registered as OK-TSJ) and C-FTCZ (2000, 29923, OK-TSL) landed at Ruzyne this morning. The usual A320s from SmartLynx Airlines are coming as well YL-LCD (1992, c/n 359) first landed in Prague at April 30th, YL-LCA (c/n 333) came yesterday. An B737-900ER (OK-TSI) from the Indian SpiceJet is expected in the middle of May.
